How to fix medical gauze

In life, we always encounter some bumps and bumps, so that some wounds appear on the skin. If it is a small wound, it can be a big wound. If there is no corresponding knowledge, it is probably difficult to dress up. The details of the dressing steps of medical gauze are detailed.

First we have to choose the right bandage/medical gauze.

Medical gauze / bandage dressing method:

1, ordinary dressing

(1) After the rolling strip bandage is unfolded, one end is a, the other end is b, and the right hand grips the rolling bar to receive the end of the band, and the bandage is taken out and attached to the patient dressing part.

(2) Fix the bandage first when dressing

A, the end of the belt is placed obliquely under the dressing part, and the bandage is circumsed;

B. Expose the oblique corner;

C, then fold the oblique part down;

D. Ringing two to three times.

(3) Fixing method after dressing

A. Fix with tape or safety pin;

B. Leave the bandage at an appropriate length, C, and tie it after cutting.

2, ring bandaging method: for the beginning and end of the bandage; fixed band end; bandage neck, wrist, chest, abdomen and other small parts of the same thickness.

1 The bandage is made up of overlapping windings (not less than 2 weeks);

2 next week, the bandage will be completely covered last week;

3 Re-fold the end of the bandage, use a glue or a safety pin to fix it, or cut the middle of the band into two ends, avoiding the knotting of the injured area (the following method is used for the dressing).

3, snake-shaped dressing method (slanting method): used to quickly extend from one place to another for simple fixation, can be used for the fixation of the splint.

1 wrap the bandage around the circle twice;

2 at the interval of the width of the bandage, the slanting lines are not covered with each other;

3 wrap the bandage twice again in a circle;

4 fixed method with the same method of ring wrapping.

4, spiral dressing method: used to dress the same diameter of the same parts as the arms, fingers, torso, thighs and so on.

1 wrap the bandage around the circle twice;

2 slightly inclined (<30°), spirally wound up;

3 cover 1/3~1/2 of last week;

4 Wrap the bandage twice again and fix it.

5, spiral re-folding method (folding method): for parts of different diameters such as forearms, calves and so on.

1 wrap the bandage around the circle twice;

2 slightly inclined (<30°), spirally wound up;

3 Each time the bandage is folded back down, covering 1/3 ~ 1/2 of its last week, the reflexed parts should be the same, making it a straight line;

4 Wrap the bandage twice again and fix it. Be careful not to fold back on the wound or at the bony prominence.

6, "8"-shaped dressing: for different diameter parts or flexed joints such as elbows, shoulders, hips, knees and so on.

1 after the flexion joint is annularly wrapped at the distal end of the joint for two weeks;

2 The right hand stretches the bandage from the lower right to the upper left over the joint, bypasses the back, and then stretches from the upper right (near the heart end) over the joint to the lower left, so that it is "8" shaped, covering 1/3~1 last week. /2;

3 ring bandage is fixed for 2 weeks.

7, return dressing method: used to dress the parts without the top such as the fingertips, head, amputation stump.

1 ring bandage for two weeks;

2 The right hand will fold the bandage upwards and the ring is vertical, first covering the center of the stump, then alternately covering the left and right sides, and the left hand fixes the reflexed part, covering 1/3~1/2 of the last week;

3 then fold the bandage back and fold for 2 weeks.
