How to use gauze masks

Gauze masks are used in many places, so how can they be comfortable and correct when worn? Let us study together?

With the nose clip facing up, hold the breath protective gauze mask on the chin. If there are two headbands, put the top headband on top of the head and place the lower strap over the head behind the neck, below the ear. If there is only one headband, the headband should be placed at the top of the head. Make sure the breath-protecting gauze mask covers the nose and mouth and cover the chin. Looking in the mirror helps to adjust the position of the respirator on the face.

Place the tip of the two fingers on top of the metal nose clip. If there is no metal nose clip, there is no way to adjust it. With both hands, press the nose on the bridge of the nose and shape the nose clip according to the shape of your nose. Pinch the nose clip with one hand will result in poor adhesion and reduce the protective effect. Must be operated with both hands.

Check the airtightness of the wear after wearing the breath-protecting gauze mask. The inspection is divided into two steps. First, completely cover the respiratory respirator with both hands, then quickly inhale to see if the perimeter of the respirator fits snugly against the face. Then, completely cover your breathing mask with your hands and exhale. Be careful not to change the position of the respiratory protection gauze mask. If air is found to leak from the vicinity of the bridge of the nose during these two procedures, re-adjust the nose clip as in step 5. If air is found to leak from the perimeter of the mask, adjust the headband to a more rearward position.
