The main types and characteristics of medical bandages

Medical bandages are mainly used in auxiliary medical care, postoperative care and rehabilitation, field rescue, outdoor activities, various sports and sports injuries, and protection and health care. The main products are the following categories:

    1. Plastic orthopedic bandage Medical plastic orthopedic bandage is made of low softening point, non-toxic synthetic resin and coated on the surface of cotton yarn. This bandage can be softened and deformed at about 60 ° C and fixedly shaped at about 35 ° C. During treatment, the bandage is heated with hot water, a hair dryer or an oven and wrapped around the affected area as required. After cooling, the ideal fixation purpose can be achieved. Such products are currently mainly produced by South Korea, not only occupying the Asian market, but also exported to Western countries such as Europe and the United States. Although China's market has introduced products, it has not been widely promoted due to its high price.

    2. Orthopedic splint bandages are two types of medical bandages. They are used with aluminum splints to treat finger fractures, joint sprains, dislocations and arthritis, and reduce pain. Orthopedic splint bandages can use a warp knitted fabric made of natural fibers, mineral fibers, special fibers, high-strength glass fibers, carbon fibers, aromatic polyamide fibers, or composite filaments and short fibers. In some cases, this fiber product / metal support can partially or completely replace gypsum, and can be washed, dried, disinfected and recycled in warm water. The breathable tissue and soft filling give it a comfortable use. It is very beneficial to shorten the course of treatment.
